Sony BDP-S390 is a mid-range Blu-ray player released in Feb 01, 2012.

The Samsung BD-H5100 is a small-form Blu-ray player from South Korean company, Samsung, released in Mar 03, 2014.

Reavon UBR-X100 is an high-end Ultra HD Blu-ray player from the French company, Reavon. There are two other identical models, UBR-X110 and UBR-X200, that provide additional features. These models are sold in the Europe. It's design and performance is very similar to the Oppo models and is considered as a "spiritual successor" to Oppo since they left the market.

 The Sony BDZ-V9 is Sony's second generation Blu-ray recorder and first generation BD-ROM player released around 2006 exclusive to Japan. It's an improvement over the BDZ-S77. A similar model, the Sony BDZ-V7 is almost identical, but without some advanced features.

It was originally scheduled for release in the United States on August 18, 2006 with a MSRP of $999.95. Sony had postponed the release date of this player several times and it was finally released on December 4, 2006.

BDZ-S77 is the world's first Blu-ray disc recorder made by Sony and released in 2003. It was designed to record Japanese television broadcast for the Japanese consumer market. This machine was a beast and it costed US$3,800.
